Getting Started:
When you're new around here, you might feel a bit lost. That's why you came on this side, right? Well anyways, we'll help you.
First of all, you should go to the Newcomer Centre. There will be a starter package for you.
Contains:
5 Food
5 Herbs
5 Pieces of Wood
1 Deer Skin
You should put it in your inventory that's located on your profile options. Next, go to the gate and enter the park. Choose where you want to go. I recommend the rolling hills to stay there for the start. The hills protect you from the cold wind. Then you should go hunting to improve your hunting skills. You start off with average. You better also hunt smaller animals, else they could wound you badly, but more to that later. Then you should go and look for a place where you want to live. You can't live at the rolling hills because they are a place where loners go to and find friends, packs or even mates. You better look for a protected place. Maybe you find a place that is already claimed? You could enter anyways and maybe the owner of the place is letting you stay if they have an empty den. Maybe you 2 Fall in love! XD maybe you can even live there! At that place, you should think about starting a pack. If yes, then PM Alight, if you meet the requirements. If I approve, then you have luck! But maybe, when you arrive there, the owner of the place is hostile, what's quite understandable because you just entered their territory. They might just force you to go but if you have really bad luck, they might attack you. In this case, you can fight or run away. But if your health goes under 0, you will die. That means a new Character and a new start for you. If you get away alive and you are able to walk and talk, you get battle experience. But if you find a place that's not claimed and you want to live there, you can use the deer Skin to make yourself a small camp. You can put all your items away and sleep a little bit. On the next day, you can claim this place. For that, you must send Alight a pm and she will write that down. Then you must go to the Hunting Grounds. Various animals and items are here. Go and look for wood. It's really important. You must find at least 5 pieces. You can also pick up decorations, which you can put in your den, and yes, Alight is already making graphics for that. Then go to your little camp and put the stuff away. For that make a post right under the first one that's made by Alight. If there is already an existing one, just edit it and make it your place's inventory. After that you want to build a den. For that you have to pm Alight and tell her. She will then check your inventory and if you have 10 pieces of wood, she puts them away and gives you your den. Now you have a nice home
Now that you have your home and territory, you will need to learn to hunt! For that, go to the Hunting Grounds and select a prey. It will look like that:
Prey:
Rabbit (requires good hunting skills)
Deer (Requires excellent hunting skills)
Mouse
Now that you are most likely an average skilled hunter, you have to select the Mouse. Just write a post like this:
*catches a mouse*
Then put the mouse in your inventory. Also don't forget to eat 2 pieces of food per day. Now you just have to redo that until you level up your skill. Alight decides when it's time. Now you have good hunting skills and you can catch better prey! That's all you need to know.
Are you feeling lonely? Join a pack! There are 3 different ways:
Join one while exploring:
You might wanna explore a bit and find new places. For that you must pm Alight and she'll remove your claim and den. If you want to return, then leave it there, but while you're gone, others could steal and simply claim the territory. But right now you wanna find a pack. Here is a step-by-step guide:
Step 1:
Search a claimed place, travel there and look if there is a pack. If yes then move on to step 2, if not, travel to another claimed place
Step 2:
Ask if you can join. If the Alpha agrees, then move on to the next step, if not, look for another pack
Step 3:
If there is a free den, pm Alight to claim it, if not, pm her to build one
Step 4:
Live happily with your pack
Getting a pack at the Gathering:
Every first day of a month is our pack gathering. It happens at the rolling hills and goes the whole day. Here is a step-by-step guide for finding a pack there
Step 1:
Pack you stuff and travel to the rolling hills at the 1 day of the month
Step 2:
Wait till it's your turn, then say something about your skills, your personality and what you are looking for in a pack
Step 3:
If there are some Packs that want you, they'll say something about themselves and why they want you to join
Step 4:
Choose a pack that you want to join
Step 5:
Travel to their territory and put your stuff there
Starting an own pack:
Starting a pack isn't quite easy and it can take some time. There are some requirements to make a happy pack. Also you must provide protection against predators because it's your pack. You see, there's a lot of responsibility required, because I love to add some funny 'events' like bear attacks or 1 in-game month without water. But without further ado let's start this last step-by-step guide
Step 1:
Find a territory
Step 2:
Make yourself a den
Step 3:
find a new pack member that would join you
Step 4:
PM Alight about that and wait till she adds your pack to the list
Things to make a happy pack:
-pack is near a water source
-a healer wolf is in the pack (doesn't count as member)
-3 empty dens if there would be a wounded lone wolf that needs help and doesn't have any wood
-around 10 herbs
-always enough food
That's it. Now you know some stuff, so go use it!
You know that there are some wolves with jobs and they have a special Guide. These Wolves are called Helpers.
Packs:
Only Healer Wolves can join a pack, the other ones must stay alone and have a maximum of 1 mate and 1 apprentice, pups will be explained later.
Helping other wolves:
Helpers need to help every wolf in need, no matter what.
Apprentices:
Any wolf can ask a helper for mentoring. If the helper agrees, the apprentice will be trained 1 in-game year and then he or she must leave and maybe even become a helper themselves
Pups:
Helpers are allowed to have pups. If the mother of them is the helper, she will get 1 in-game year free time to take care of her pups, after that, the father trains the pups and teaches them everything they need to know. If the father is the helper, he will get 3 in-game months free time to spend with his pups.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (stawp it XD) you're looking for the 'love of your life'? You have some options:
1. Option: Pack Members
Maybe you like a member of the pack you're in? Who knows. Maybe just tell them your feelings or give signals. Maybe they like you too, maybe not. Nobody knows. But if they do, then you have a mate! If not, then I can't help you, sorry.
Option 2: Loners
Maybe you're a loner and found another one and you really like each other. Maybe you're a Job-Wolf that likes it's guest, maybe a pack member that spotted a hot loner. Who knows. Anyways, try to keep them around and spend time together. Tell them your feelings or give signals. Maybe they like you too, maybe not.
Option 3: the rolling hills
Honestly, this is the best option. Later, there will be an event but I won't tell anything ;) so if you want a mate then simply go there. Maybe there are other wolves but if not, then wait. Build a small camp. Maybe you find the love of your life! Or not... depends...

Soooooooooooooooooooo. You and you're mate want pups................. pm Alight. She will use a random generator to see how many pups will be born, what they look like, what they have as personalities, disabilities and such stuff.
If you're a Job Wolf, you'll loose your job but don't worry, you can apply for it again when you're pups are older.
All parents can pick, what pup they want to play in the future. They'll play them from birth but they will play the chosen one when their main character dies. The mother can choose first.
The rest of the pups will be deleted after 1 RL Month.
